The Pats are different from any other dynasty.

 

 The Pats also don't have the competition that Oakland, SF and Pittsburgh had to deal with to make it to the super bowl. In fact the Dolphins act like they want the Pats to win the division every year by trading stars like Wes Welker to them.

Although this division has been weak, it looks to be getting much stronger and Miami was very good even looking like a serioius playoff favorite last season.

other facts about the mighty Patriots:

1. Don't pay their players a lot of money. Burgess or Moss isn't gonig to make more with New England than Oakland but who can argue since they win all the time? 

2. Are the first NFL club to have its broadcasting station investing in a team. The 70's Cowboys got favortism from CBS but nothing like this. No NFL club has its broadcasting station putting money into it (Patriots) while letting it (Patriots) use its name (CBS) on its resort area.

3. Have a very close relationship with the NFL front office. only the Steelers have a stronger one. But the Pats seem to be able to spy opps I mean get inside info on other clubs through the NFL office and get favoriable treatment from them.


Its not that New England can't do without Raiders players. Its just the NFL's way of turning us against Al Davis and humiliating him. Its revenge for a lot of Als Patriots ass kicking in the 70's and 80's. If these guys do crappy in Oakland then star in New England it sort of heals the smarts from them getting their asses whipped for decades through trades and loses to Al and his Raiders. But it is designed to make you more frustrated.
